Deb Lavender
Democrat
Sessions in current seat: 2

District: Kirkwood (90th House)
Self Grade:
B
Lavender said she was able to make a difference on the House Budget Committee, where she had some success in finding money for programs the Democrats wanted funded, adding: "What I have found on the budget this year has enabled me to be a more effective legislator this year.”
Our Grade:
C
She's the ranking minority member on two committees or subcommittees, and was heavily involved with the House budget committee. Lavender also managed to get lawmakers to spare 8,000 low-income seniors and disabled people from cuts to their in-home health care. She backed the drug database bill, which passed both chambers but didn't make it to Greitens' desk, and a change to lobbyist expenditure rules, which passed the House but failed to make it through the Senate.
