Michael Butler
Democrat
Sessions in current seat: 3

District: St. Louis (79th House)
Self Grade:
A
"As a member of the super-duper minority in the Missouri Legislature, I have overachieved this legislative session by being successful in delivering state funds to fight against the City of St. Louis' biggest issue: crime (he got $500,000 for the St. Louis Police Department). I would consider that a huge win."
Our Grade:
C
The ranking minority member on the House Budget Committee, Butler's sponsored or co-sponsored bills did not make it to Greitens' desk, though a couple, including the drug monitoring database, came close. He did, however, manage to secure money for crime prevention for the St. Louis Police Department in the state budget for the coming fiscal year.
