Total overdoses reported in Missouri correctional facilities, 2018 vs. 2019

The Missouri Department of Corrections reported 219 overdoses across the state’s 22 correctional facilities in 2018. Potosi Correctional Center had 27 overdoses in 2018, the most of any Missouri prison. South Central Correctional Center had the second-highest number of overdoses at 23, followed by Missouri Eastern Correctional at 22. Six facilities reported zero overdoses.
