Between January and November of 2019, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported 177 homicides or violent crimes involving guns in the Penrose and O’Fallon neighborhoods. Ashland Elementary School is on the border of the two neighborhoods. Each red circle represents a crime report.
